Our Commitment

Garfinkle Family Dental is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation. We want every patient and visitor to be able to learn about our practice, find our office, and contact us with ease.

Our Standard

We use the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA, as the standard for our website. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Steps We Have Taken

In November 2026, our website was reviewed and updated for accessibility. This work included:

  • Adding text descriptions to meaningful images
  • Improving color contrast for text, links and buttons
  • Allowing pages to be zoomed and enlarged on all devices
  • Making menus, the photo slideshow and patient testimonials usable with a keyboard
  • Adding a visible keyboard focus indicator and a “Skip to main content” link
  • Adding a pause button to the photo slideshow
  • Improving page headings, page titles and page structure for screen reader users
  • Labeling our contact form fields and making form errors available to screen readers
  • Giving our embedded map a descriptive title

We will continue to review our website and make improvements as needed.

Some content and features on our website are provided by other companies, such as embedded Google Maps, links to Yelp reviews and social media, online patient forms, and live chat. We do not control the accessibility of these services, but we will help you get the same information or service another way. If any third-party content is difficult to use, please contact us.
