Meet Dr. Adam Garfinkle

Some of Dr. Adam Garfinkle's earliest memories involve spending time at the dentist.  Having both a father and uncle in the profession, Dr. Adam was exposed to dentistry from the time he could walk.  Growing up, he saw not only the joy it brought his dad to work as a dentist, but the joy it brought his patients as they achieved their goals and maintained a beautiful smile.

After studying Industrial and Operational Engineering at the University of Michigan, Dr. Adam continued on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).  While a student, Dr. Adam discovered a love for more complex and surgical procedures.  To gain more knowledge in treating these specific types of cases, he continued on in his studies and completed a hospital residency at St. Joseph Mercy in suburban Detroit.

As a Michigan transplant, Dr. Adam is loving his new home with his growing family in sunny Southern California.  In his spare time, Dr. Adam loves anything that allows him to spend time outdoors - running, hiking, golfing, or just taking his dog Meeka on long walks.  On Sundays, you can find Dr. Adam rooting on his hometown Lions!

Meet Dr. Mindy Garfinkle

As an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California, Dr. Mindy studied Biology and Art History; she didn't always want to be a dentist.  She knew she had a passion for both science and art, but she wasn't sure how she could combine the two into a fulfilling career.  But after working with dentists, providing care to patients and seeing the transformations that dentistry allowed, Dr. Mindy knew she had found what she was searching for.

After attending the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduating in the top of her class, Dr. Mindy continued on in a post-doc residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, focusing on esthetics.  It was her love of art that first sparked her interest in the field of dentistry, and it is what makes Dr. Mindy strive for not only a functional result, but a beautiful one as well.  Together with her husband, Dr. Mindy provides thorough care to her patients in a comfortable and relaxing environment.

Although Dr. Mindy enjoyed her time in the mid-west while she completed her education, she was eager to get back to her Southern California home.  She is happily married to her husband, Adam, and together they have a handsome little boy who was born November 5th, 2016 and a beautiful Toy Husky named Meeka.  Although Dr. Mindy stays busy with work, travel and spending time with her family, there's always enough time for her to cheer on her favorite football teams... Fight On! Go Blue!
